The Big (white) Picture

The big picture is simple - 30 Sindy folks getting together for an all-included (*) combination of top skiing and top partying in Tignes, one of Europe's best ski resorts. It's all organized and managed by Para-Ski LLC, one of France's leading snow adventure travel companies. We've got the amazing Tignes - Val D'isre  slopes, we've got special Sindy stuff like a mountain torch decent followed by a on-the-mountain 'ice breaking' dinner, snow bungee run and snow raft (even we're not sure what this is, but they promised us it really bonds those who survive it), and we've got the local apres-ski scene...We're all staying together in a local family hotel. The trip is open to folks age 25+, skiers or boarders, with medium and up levels of skiing/boarding.

Itinerary 

Thursday, Dec 18

 

Arrival, night torch-light descent

We meet at Geneva's Gare Cornavin at 1400, and travel by private bus to Tignes. We'll arrive around 1700, and check into our hotel. After a group welcome drink we head for a mountain top fondue dinner, followed by a torch light ski / snow-board guided descent. It's then off to check out the local night life.

Friday, Dec 19

 

Slope Guided tour,  skiing/boarding

A guide will take us on an orientation tour of the Tignes - Val D'isre slopes, with a special tour of the off-piste options for the brave ones. It's then off to the great white...until dinner, and until going out again...

Saturday, Dec 20

 

Skiing/boarding and group snow bungee

We start with free skiing and boarding, and then get together for a snow bungee and snow raft runs (with guides). After dinner it's Saturday night fever!

Sunday, Dec 21

 

Last day on the slopes, head back

We hit the slopes again, or chill at the Tignes thermal spa (*). We have the last lunch together, then head back around 1700, and get to Geneva around 1900.

Group size: min 20 max 40. 

Group composition: Sindy members only. We'll do our best to ensure 50/50 gender split. Priority to ages 25-35 & to non-married folks. 

Ski levels: medium and up. 

Cost: 425 EUR per person, based on double room occupancy.
